Senior Associate Bradley P. Erdman

Elmhurst native Bradley Erdman is a senior associate attorney at Weiss-Kunz & Oliver and is most often recognized by his clients and colleagues for his dedication and his award-winning legal writing skills. He is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois (BA, Finance) and received both a Juris Doctorate (JD) and a Certificate in Business law from the Chicago-Kent School of Law.

Bradley spent the early part of his legal career at a Chicago boutique law firm representing clients in the areas of criminal defense, civil rights violations, and appellate prosecution. His work in these legal practice areas provided the formative training he uses to provide his family law clients with strong advocacy skills and a focused, individualized approach to their legal issues. His areas of focus include financial land retirement issues, child support, maintenance, restraining orders, and negotiation of comprehensive marital settlement agreements.

For Bradley Erdman, a typical day of in-person hearings and client meetings has changed significantly in the era of COVID-19, but while he misses the in-person interactions, he still takes pride in the work he does for his clients.

“It’s nice to know that the advice and representation I provide for my clients is helping people,” Bradley said.

Bradley Erdman notes that he is grateful and privileged to work among such esteemed colleagues at Weiss-Kunz & Oliver.

“The office is one of the most well-run offices that I’ve been fortunate to be a part of. They hold everyone to the highest professional and ethical standards and are completely above-board. I’ve never felt out-of-place or in an ethical gray area” at this firm, Bradley said.

When not in the office, Bradley dedicates a significant amount of time to non-profit and philanthropic organizations. He has volunteered with Easter seals, a national organization providing disability services, and support services to veterans and military families, seniors and caregivers and St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a non-profit that raises funds to help find cures for childhood cancer.

Bradley Erdman also volunteers with Loaves & Fishes Community Services, a non-profit providing healthy food and impactful programs to promote self-sufficiency and community.

Bradley is equally passionate about his work with the Hinsdale Humane Society, where he helps foster and socialize dogs in preparation for adoption. The work is both challenging and important.

“Some of the pets at Hinsdale Humane Society have been so traumatized and just need a good home,” Bradley Erdman said, noting how he is grateful for the opportunity to give back and help the dogs find new homes.

In his free time, Bradley enjoys professional basketball, reading, and hiking with his dog, Oliver.
