Alexis L. Seniff

Alexis L. Seniff is a Partner of Weiss-Kunz & Oliver, LLC. She has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law since becoming a licensed attorney in 2016. She joined Weiss-Kunz & Oliver, LLC in 2021 after practicing for a boutique family law firm in Chicago. Her experience in high net worth divorce, custody cases (including relocation), and adoptions has been a great asset to the firm. "Alexis is a skilled litigator and an out-of-the-box thinker - the whole package when it comes to family law," says founding member Maxine Weiss Kunz.
Alexis received two Bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University, one in psychology and a second in sociology. These dual degrees have provided Alexis with a strong background to assist her in guiding her clients through the emotional intricacies inherent to family law proceedings. Alexis approaches her cases with compassion, yet is a zealous advocate for her clients. She believes it is important to work with her clients to develop effective strategies tailored to her clients’ needs. She wants her clients to not only feel heard, but see results.
During her studies at John Marshall Law School, Alexis worked as a volunteer in the John Marshall Domestic Violence Clinic. She concentrated her studies on helping families in need, even back then. Alexis graduated with the goal of providing meaningful and quality legal service in all areas of family law.
Alexis was named a "Rising Star" Attorney in Family Law by Super Lawyers (a high honor) and a "Elite Advocate" by the American Institute of Legal Advocates. She is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike with her husband, spending time with her rescue dog, reading, and any activity by the water.
